Amanda Cox

General Counsel

Amanda serves as The Integrity Group’s General Counsel. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies, followed by Stetson University College of Law. Upon graduation, Amanda began her 15+ year legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Orange County, Florida. She then transitioned into the private sector practicing litigation. Her experience ranges in several practice areas including insurance defense, as well as contract, business and personal disputes. In 2016, Amanda transitioned into the field of emergency management and joined The Integrity Group. Her role is not only serving as a technical consultant in all areas of disaster recovery grant programs, including a strong focus on full compliance, but also working closely with clients to develop, manage, and prevail through the FEMA appeals process. This includes projects in which FEMA denies or substantially reduces the funding for major recovery grants. She has played a significant role in virtually the entire universe of disasters worked by the firm, totaling many clients and multiple million in grants. Amanda is a Florida native and works/resides with her husband and three children in the Tampa Bay area.
