Meaghan has over four years of experience in the areas of financial, grant and project management in the FEMA Public Assistance Grant Program for the State of Florida. Working on no less than 15 Federally Declared Disasters. During this time, Ms. Marx has worked on over 50 disaster recovery grants valued at more than $90 million. Her focus has been on technical knowledge of the myriad of FEMA rules and regulations and excellent customer service to two major state-level grantees and more than 79 sub-grantees and local clients. Serving in the professional capacities as a Grant Closeout Specialist, Project Development Specialist (Project Worksheets) and Direct Administrative Cost (DAC) Review Specialist she has also been responsible for professional staffs’ time sheet management and development of invoices for professional services to various clients. Her experience in all phases of disaster recovery include Grant Writing, Project Development, Grant Management & Reporting, Payment Processing, Final Reconciliation, and Project Closeouts. Other duties include consistent meetings with clients, participation in the development and delivery of HSEEP compliant training and exercises for state and local entities, and involvement in a variety of emergency management planning projects.
